Bulk Importer is a tool that allows you to quickly add, create, and remove users within your organization via CSV upload.
We recommend admins download our CSV template from the Bulk Import page to get started. NOTE: First Name, Last Name, and Email are required for uploading.
How to Use the Bulk Import Tool
Here are a few ways admins can use this tool.
Add new users to the platform to your Cloverleaf Organization
Start by downloading the CSV Template file from the Bulk Import page.
Fill in the relevant details for each new user in the template.
Upload your completed CSV template using the Bulk Importer.
New users will be created, but not invited, based on the content you’ve entered. You can send invites separately once you are ready to do so.
Update Existing Users
Download the CSV of Current Users file found on the Bulk Importer page.
Update any necessary user details in the CSV file’s columns and save the updated file. Use this to make changes to names, managers, groups, or teams.
Re-upload the updated CSV using the Bulk Importer.

The information for existing users will be automatically updated based on your file changes.
Remove Users in Bulk
Start by downloading the CSV of Current Users file found on the Bulk Import page.
Change the status to “INACTIVE” in the CSV file for any users you would like to remove and save the updated file.
Re-upload the updated CSV using the Bulk Importer.
Users marked as “INACTIVE” will be removed from your organization.
Create Teams and Add Users to New Teams
Teams based on reporting structure, aka Reporting Teams, are created automatically using manager email data. A team will be created for every manager and their direct reports.
For other types of teams, e.g. project-based or cross-functional teams, use the “Team” column on your CSV import. Currently, the Bulk Importer allows one team per user.
