What can I learn from this page? How to use webhooks to connect Cloverleaf leads to your CRM.

With Leads, you can easily advertise your services using Cloverleaf by creating links to share through networking, conference presentations, or daily communications. Leads will allow both individuals and teams to join Cloverleaf on a free trial tied to your organization.

You can easily track Cloverleaf leads by connecting them to your CRM through webhooks. Webhooks can be used with tools such as Zapier, allowing you to automate your workflows and streamline your processes.

Navigating Webhooks

Navigate to Leads in the left sidebar navigation. Click the ... menu and select Add Webhook.

This will open a pop-up where you can enter the URL generated for the webhook. If you're using Zapier, for example, they will provide you with a link. Copy and paste the URL into the field and click Save. After that, click Test to trigger the data fields and populate them in Zapier or another tool you might be using.

When a new user signs up for Cloverleaf using one of your promotion codes, and again when they finish creating their account, the webhook will fire that information to the provided url. You can reuse the same webhook link or have individual ones tied to each Promo Code depending on your use case.

Hubspot Use Case

Let's walk through a use case for setting up Leads in Cloverleaf to Hubspot using Zapier.

Using Zapier, you can set up a zap that will create or update HubSpot contacts using webhooks.

  1. Create Zap from a suggested template.

  2. Copy and paste your webhook url into the Promo Code you want it tied to on Cloverleaf.

    1. Navigate to Leads > click the ... menu > add Webhook

  3. Click Test to trigger data fields to populate in Zapier.

  4. Click Save to close out the webhook pop-up.

  5. In Zapier, map relevant fields to Hubspot data.

  6. Test and publish Zap.

From here, any leads that come in through that Cloverleaf promo code should populate into Hubspot.

Pro Tip: Any time you create a new lead link, you will want to use the same webhook url from the Zap you built (assuming you want it to do the same thing), pull this from one of your existing lead links, or directly from the Zap as needed.

Have any use cases for webhooks you'd like to share with our team? We'd love to hear!
