Using Discover: Your On-Demand AI Coach

Why Discover Matters

Cloverleaf brings together powerful assessment data about you and your team. That insight is valuable, but it can also feel overwhelming. When you need guidance in the moment, you don’t always have time to dig through multiple reports or dashboards.

Discover simplifies that experience.

Discover transforms Cloverleaf from a static lookup tool into your on-demand AI Coach. Instead of searching through assessments, you can ask real questions and receive personalized coaching tailored to:

  • Your strengths and obstacles.

  • A teammate’s tendencies and preferences.

  • A team’s overall dynamics.

  • The real-time challenges you are facing.

Whether you are preparing for a difficult conversation, navigating stress, leading a team meeting, or developing your leadership skills, Discover provides contextual coaching when it matters most.

For talent leaders and managers, this means scalable coaching support across the organization.

For individual contributors, it means growth support without needing to interpret assessment data alone.

How to Use Discover

Discover provides personalized coaching based on assessment insights and organizational context. You can use it for yourself, with a teammate, or with an entire team.

Using Discover for Yourself

How To:

  1. Log in to your Cloverleaf account.

  2. Locate the Discover search bar.

  3. Type a question or scenario you are facing.

    • Example: “How can I prepare for a difficult conversation?”

    • Example: “What are my strengths under stress?”

  4. Press Enter to generate your personalized coaching response.

Your AI Coach will pull from your assessment data and provide relevant insights and practical guidance tailored to you.

When to Use It:

  • Preparing for feedback conversations.

  • Managing stress or workload.

  • Clarifying strengths and development areas.

  • Strengthening communication skills.

Using Discover for Collaboration

Discover can also provide insight about a teammate or a full team.

How To:

  1. Open Discover in your Cloverleaf account.

  2. Specify the teammate or team in your prompt.

    • Example: “How can I give effective feedback to [Teammate Name]?”

    • Example: “What are this team’s strengths during change?”

  3. Submit your question.

  4. Review the personalized coaching insights.

Discover can help you:

  • Navigate conflict.

  • Understand communication preferences.

  • Identify optimal roles for energy and productivity.

  • Explore how teammates prefer to receive feedback.

  • Surface team strengths and potential blind spots.

For managers and team leads, this enables proactive leadership instead of reactive problem solving.

Do More With Your Coaching Response

After you receive a coaching response, Discover offers three additional tools to deepen your learning.

Dive Deeper

Select “Dive Deeper” to:

  • Ask follow-up questions

  • Choose from suggested coaching prompts

  • Expand on a specific part of your response

This helps you move from insight to clarity and application.

How Do I Apply This?

Select “How Do I Apply This?” to:

  • View suggested next steps

  • See actionable behaviors aligned with your insights

  • Identify practical ways to implement the coaching

This is especially helpful for turning reflection into measurable growth.

Take Notes

Select “Take Notes” to:

  1. Record insights, reflections, or action plans.

  2. Click Save.

You can revisit your notes later in your Coaching History, located in the Growth section of the left-hand navigation menu.

This creates continuity in your development journey and allows you to track patterns over time.

Smart Prompts

Smart Prompts provide contextual coaching nudges designed to fuel growth and interaction.

Use Smart Prompts to:

  • Explore new development areas.

  • Reflect before important meetings.

  • Strengthen team collaboration.

  • Build consistent coaching habits.

For organizations building a coaching culture, Smart Prompts help embed development into the daily flow of work rather than treating it as a separate activity.

Using Discover to Search Help Center Content

Discover can also answer questions related to Cloverleaf’s Help Center content.

How To:

  1. Open Discover.

  2. Ask a question about:

    • An assessment offered in Cloverleaf.

    • How to complete an action inside your account.

    • Administrative features (if you are an admin).

  3. Review the guided response.

Examples:

  • “How do I invite candidates?”

  • “What assessments are available?”

  • “How do I manage team settings as an admin?”

This allows you to get immediate guidance without manually searching the Help Center.

Thought Leadership: AI as a Scalable Growth Multiplier

AI does not replace human coaching. It expands access to it. When positioned correctly, Cloverleaf's AI Coach becomes a force multiplier for talent strategy. It reinforces feedback conversations, strengthens self-awareness, and supports managers between 1:1s.

Organizations that win in the future will not rely solely on scheduled development events. They will embed coaching into daily work.

Discover helps make that shift possible.
