Organization Reporting: How to track team engagement and adoption across your org

Org Admins can use Organization Reporting to track member setup, assessment completion, Coaching Focus adoption, and integration usage across the entire organization in one dashboard.

Written by Jason Miller

What you'll accomplish with Organization Reporting

Organization Reporting gives Org Admins a single dashboard to see who's set up on Cloverleaf, how engaged they are with coaching, and where to follow up. Use it to answer questions like "Which members still need a manager assigned?", "How many people have completed an assessment?", and "How many members feel they've grown since joining Cloverleaf?"

By the end of this article, you'll know how to:

  • Open Organization Reporting and navigate the Members, Adoption, and Growth tabs

  • Filter members by setup status (no manager, no assessment, no Coaching Focus, no integration)

  • Track adoption trends for Assessments, Coaching Focus, Discover, and Feedback

  • See self-reported practice and self-reported change through the Growth tab

  • Scope reports to a specific group, manager, or reporting tree

  • Export your data for sharing or offline analysis

Who can access this: Organization Reporting is available to Org Admins only. Group Admins and Members will not see the Reporting option in their sidebar.

Members tab: Review who is set up for success

The Members tab is where you go to find wins and gaps in setup and act on them.

Reading the summary metric cards

Five cards at the top of the tab show your org's readiness at a glance. Each card includes a clickable link that filters the table below to the matching group of members, so you can move from a headline number to a targeted action list in one click.

  • Active Members — Total active members, plus counts for Invited Members (sent an invite, haven't joined) and Loaded Members (uploaded but not yet invited).

  • Set a Manager (%) — Percent of active members on Cloverleaf who have an active Manager on Cloverleaf

  • Completed an Assessment (%) — Percent of members who finished at least one assessment.

  • With an Active Coaching Focus (%) — Percent of members with an Active Coaching Focus set.

  • With an Integration (%) — Percent of members connected to Calendar, Slack, or MS Teams.

Tip: Click any "X members without..." link to instantly filter the members table. This is the fastest way to build a follow-up list.

Understanding the Members table

Below the summary cards, the Members table lists every person in your org. Columns include:

  • Member — Name, title, email, and avatar. Click a name to open that person's profile.

  • Manager — Cloverleaf manager assigned to the member.

  • Coaching Focus — Shows Set or blank.

  • Assessments — Count completed and whether required assessments are done.

  • Integrations — Icons for Calendar, Slack, and MS Teams.

  • Date Joined — When the member joined.

  • Type — Member, Group Admin, or Org Admin.

  • Visibility — Public, Organization, or Restricted.

Click any column header to sort. The table paginates at 25 members per page.

Switching between Active, Invited, and Loaded views

Three tabs above the table separate members by status:

  • Active — Joined and using Cloverleaf

  • Invited — Invite sent, not yet accepted

  • Loaded — Added via bulk upload, not yet invited

Member counts appear next to each tab label so you can see how many people are in each state.

Searching and filtering members

Use the search bar to find members by name, email, title, or manager.

For broader queries, click Members Filter to narrow by:

  • Manager: No Manager / Has Manager

  • Coaching Focus: Not Set / Set

  • Integrations: None / Calendar / Slack / MS Teams

  • Assessments: None Completed / Completed

  • User Type: Member / Group Admin / Org Admin

  • User Privacy: Public / Organization / Restricted

Click Apply to run the filter. A badge shows how many filters are active. Click Reset to clear them.

Taking action from the Members tab

Four action buttons sit above the table:

  • Upload Members — Open the bulk importer to add members from a file.

  • Invite New Members — Send email invitations to new members.

  • Download — Export the current member list (any active filters are included) as a data file.

  • Select All — Bulk-select members for actions across the table.

Common mistake: When you click Download, the export reflects whichever filters are currently applied. If you want a full member list, click Reset before downloading.

Adoption tab: Learn what tools and features are bringing in the most value

The Adoption tab shows how your team is using Cloverleaf's core features. The tab contains four feature sub-tabs: Assessments, Coaching Focus, Discover, and Feedback.

What's in each sub-tab

Every sub-tab follows the same layout, so once you understand one, you understand all four:

  • Feature description — What the feature is and why it matters

  • Adoption status badge — A quick health indicator (for example, ON TRACK — Adoption is healthy)

  • Key metrics — Adoption percentage and total activity count

  • Cumulative Adoption Over Time chart — A line chart showing adoption trends

  • Intended Impact — Why adoption of this feature matters for your org

  • Resources — Links to relevant help articles and guides

  • Feature Champions — The top two members driving usage

What each sub-tab tracks

  • Assessments — Percent of members with at least one completed assessment, plus total assessments completed. An Assessment Completion Breakdown at the bottom shows completion by type (16 Types, DISC, Enneagram, StrengthsFinder, VIA, BlueEQ, and others).

  • Coaching Focus — Percent of members with a Coaching Focus set, plus total Coaching Focuses created.

  • Discover — Percent of members who've used Cloverleaf Discover, plus total Discover conversations initiated.

  • Feedback — Percent of members engaged with Feedback, plus separate counts for total Feedback Requests sent and total Feedback Responses given.

Edge case: Because the Adoption tab is a research preview, metrics and layout may change. If a number looks off, refresh the page before reporting it.

Growth tab: See how coaching is driving self-reported growth

The Growth tab gives you a high-level view of how your people are developing through coaching over time. It surfaces two types of evidence: what members are actively practicing, and how members perceive themselves and their teams have changed since using Cloverleaf.

Self-Reported Practice

This metric shows the percentage of members who say they're growing on a coaching goal they've chosen. It's calculated from members who have checked in on their Coaching Focus, for example, "17 of 19 members who checked in on their coaching focus."

Expand the Check-In Response Distribution chart to see how members rated their practice across all check-ins. Check-ins use a 1 to 5 scale:

  • 5: Consistently

  • 4: Often

  • 3: Sometimes

  • 2: Rarely

  • 1: Not practiced

The chart plots responses against a growth threshold, so you can see what proportion of check-ins fall in the growth range (scores of 3 or higher) versus below it.

Self-Reported Change

This metric reflects how members perceive they've changed since starting Cloverleaf. It's calculated from Perceived Growth Survey responses.

Cloverleaf sends the Perceived Growth Survey to members 30 days after their account is created, as a skippable in-app prompt. If a member doesn't complete it, or only completes part of it, Cloverleaf prompts them again roughly every 30 days until they finish the full survey. Once a member completes it, they aren't asked again.

The headline figure represents the percentage of respondents who report improvement in a given outcome, such as self-awareness. Expand All Outcomes to see the full Perceived Impact Results by Question breakdown, shown as a percentage of respondents across five outcome areas:

  • My self-awareness

  • My other-awareness (of team members)

  • My team's performance

  • My team's psychological safety

  • My team's communication

Each outcome shows the distribution of responses (A lot, Moderate amount, A little, None at all) as a horizontal bar chart anchored at a neutral midpoint, so you can compare where members feel the most and least impact.

Member Testimonials

Below the survey results, the Growth tab surfaces anonymous written responses to the Perceived Growth Survey's open-ended question. These quotes offer qualitative context alongside the quantitative results above.

Select Download All Testimonials to export every response for use in internal reports or stakeholder presentations.

How do I narrow reports to a specific group or team?

Use the Segment Filter in the top-right corner of the Reporting page to scope the Members, Adoption, and Growth tabs to a subset of your org. When applied, every summary metric, chart, and table row updates to reflect only the selected segment.

Segment Filter options:

  • Organization Groups: One or more groups within your org

  • Reporting Team Managers: One or more managers and their reporting trees

  • Include Reporting Organization: A checkbox to include the manager plus everyone below them in the hierarchy

Example workflow: If you're a People Operations admin who needs adoption metrics for the Sales org only, select the Sales group (or the VP of Sales as the manager with Include Reporting Organization checked). All metrics on all three tabs will reflect just that segment.

How do I export reporting data?

Click the ⋯ (More actions) menu next to the page title and select Download reports. This exports a copy of your reporting data for sharing or offline analysis.

If you only need a member list, use the Download button on the Members tab instead. It respects any active filters, so you can export a targeted list rather than the full roster.

Common questions and limitations

Why don't I see the Reporting option in my sidebar? Organization Reporting is restricted to Org Admins. Group Admins and Members don't have access.

Why is the Adoption tab labeled "research preview"?
The Cloverleaf team is actively iterating on this tab. Metrics, charts, and layout may change as it evolves. Your feedback helps shape what ships next.

Can I see adoption or growth data for just one team?
Yes. Apply the Segment Filter in the top-right corner before exploring the Adoption tab. All charts and percentages will update to reflect your selected segment.

Will my filters apply to the export?
Yes. The Download button on the Members tab exports only the rows that match your current filters. Click Reset before downloading if you need the full list.

How often is the Perceived Growth Survey sent to members?
Cloverleaf sends it 30 days after a member's account is created. If a member skips it or only partially completes it, Cloverleaf re-prompts roughly every 30 days until they finish it.
