What is a Collaboration Playbook?
A Collaboration Playbook is a downloadable PDF built from your existing behavioral assessment data in Cloverleaf. Instead of asking a teammate to dig through your assessments, hand them a single page that captures how you're wired and how to work with you.
There are two versions. Your individual Collaborating with [Your Name] playbook covers your strengths, working style, dos and don'ts, how you handle pressure, how you prefer feedback, and how you intersect with specific people you work with.
The Team Collaboration Playbook covers team strengths, tensions, blind spots, how the team makes decisions, how it runs meetings, and conversation starters for the group.
Both are meant to be handed to someone right before a conversation, not filed away. Print one before a 1:1 or a team offsite, use it, and set it aside.
How do I generate my individual playbook?
Go to your Assessments page.
Select Generate Collaboration Playbook.
Cloverleaf generates the playbook automatically the first time. Select Regenerate any time your behavioral assessment data changes and you want an updated version.
Select Download PDF to save a copy you can share.
Decision point:
If you only need your own playbook, you're done. Skip the next section.

How do I generate a Team Collaboration Playbook?
A Team Collaboration Playbook is a single shared version for the whole team, not a separate copy per person. Cloverleaf only generates it once everyone on the team has mutual visibility with each other, based on each person's Visibility Settings. Team Collaboration Playbooks are currently available for teams of 30 people or fewer.
Decision point:
If your team has 30 people or fewer and everyone has mutual visibility, follow the steps below.
If your team is larger than 30, you won't see this option. See Why don't I see the option to generate a Team Collaboration Playbook? below.
Go to your Team Dashboard.
Select Team Collaboration Playbook.
Cloverleaf generates the playbook from the team's shared behavioral assessment data.
Select Download PDF to save a copy for a meeting or workshop.
If a team member opts out, Cloverleaf automatically regenerates the playbook without that person's data and lists who opted out, so the rest of the team knows the playbook isn't showing everyone.
Why don't I see the option to generate a Team Collaboration Playbook?
Two common reasons:
Team size. Team Collaboration Playbooks are currently available for teams of 30 people or fewer. If your team is larger, the option won't appear yet.
Visibility. If anyone on the team doesn't have mutual visibility with the rest of the team, the option won't appear either.
Who can see my Collaboration Playbook, and how do I control it?
Visibility for your Collaboration Playbook mirrors your existing Visibility Settings. A few specifics worth knowing:
Your Collaborating with [Your Name] playbook stays hidden from teammates until you generate it yourself. Nobody can see it as an empty placeholder first.
If you opt out of your individual playbook, you're automatically opted out of any Team Collaboration Playbook you're part of too.

Teammates with visibility into how you work can see and download your individual playbook once you've generated it.
Your Team Collaboration Playbook lists every team member included, and names anyone who has opted out.
