Daily Coaching Overview

Daily Coaching turns your assessment data into actionable, bite-sized insights delivered every weekday. Instead of trying to absorb everything from your assessments at once, you receive targeted coaching tips about yourself and your teammates over time, helping you build self-awareness and stronger working relationships gradually.

In these notifications, you receive a unique set of coaching tips focused on you and one teammate. You can view, save, share, rate, and reflect on each tip directly from your email, Slack, or MS Teams notification.

What you can do with Daily Coaching:

  • View tips via email, Slack, or MS Teams

  • Save or share tips with teammates

  • Set a Coaching Focus to tailor the topics and teammates your tips cover

How to Update Your Coaching Tip Notification Preferences

Your notification settings let you control how often you receive Daily Coaching tips and how they're delivered. You can choose email, Slack, or MS Teams, and set the frequency that works best for you.

Coaching tip emails can be sent at the following frequencies:

  • Weekdays (five days per week)

  • Mondays and Thursdays (two days per week)

To update your coaching tip settings:

  1. Click your avatar in the top right corner to open Account Settings.

  2. Select the Notifications tab.

  3. Update your preferred delivery method, frequency, and send time.

How to Update Your Calendar Digest Notifications

On the same Notifications page, you can toggle your Calendar Digest email preference on or off and choose when you want to receive it. Calendar Digest emails surface coaching insights tied to your upcoming meetings.

How to Update Essential and Other Notifications

At the bottom of the Notifications page, you can manage how you receive Essential Notifications from Cloverleaf. These include system alerts like password reset emails and invite reminders, and they ensure you stay informed about critical account activity.

How to Manage Task Reminders

Task Reminders are in-app nudges that surface key actions and features available to you, personalized to where you are in your Cloverleaf journey. They are tied to the Notifications toggle at the bottom of your Notifications page via your Account Settings. They help you discover what's available on the platform without having to go looking for it.

You will only ever see the single most relevant reminder for you at any given time.

Reminders you may see, in priority order:

  1. Complete Your First Assessment — Prompts you to finish an active assessment.

  2. Choose a Coaching Focus — Encourages you to select a focus area to personalize your coaching tips.

  3. Respond to Manager Request — Surfaces when you have a pending request from your manager.

  4. Set Your Manager — Asks you to identify your manager if one is not already set.

  5. Connect Your Calendar — Prompts you to connect your calendar for scheduling and coaching insights.

  6. Try Your First Reflection — Invites you to try an AI-powered reflection on a coaching tip.

  7. Complete Required Assessments — Reminds you about assessments your organization has marked as required.

How often will you receive reminders? The cadence starts more frequent and tapers off over time. Your first reminder arrives at least 1 business day after your account is created, with follow-ups spaced at 3, 5, 10, and 30 business days. After 5 reminders for any given task, the system stops sending them.

What if a reminder isn't relevant to you? Click Skip on any reminder and it won't appear again. Cloverleaf will show you the next most relevant reminder instead. Once you complete the action tied to a reminder, it disappears automatically.

How to turn off Task Reminders: If you prefer not to receive Task Reminders, you can toggle them off in your Notification Settings under Account Updates: Stay in the know about your account. Note that Task Reminders are one of the primary ways Cloverleaf helps you discover features available to you, so keeping them on is recommended.
