Who can do this: All Cloverleaf users. Dashboards can only be generated for teammates who have existing Cloverleaf accounts in your organization.
How do I open Dashboard Builder?
Navigate to Collaborate in the left sidebar navigation and select Dashboard Builder. By default, you'll appear on the dashboard yourself.
How do I add teammates to my custom dashboard?
Click Customize in the top left. This opens a sidebar for adding teammates.
Select teammates from the drop-down, or search for their names.
Click a name to add it to your list.
Click Add.
This generates a new dashboard view with your selected teammates. No teammates are notified when added to a custom dashboard.
How do I remove teammates or save a custom dashboard?
Click the person icon with the minus sign next to a teammate's name to remove them from the dashboard. Dashboard Builder doesn't have a built-in save feature, so use your browser's bookmark function if you want to return to a specific custom dashboard later.
What can I explore on a custom dashboard?
Drill into the dashboard's modules to learn more about your teammates and how you work together best. Connect your calendar to have Cloverleaf automatically generate a dashboard for each meeting you're in.
Decision point:
If you want a dashboard built automatically for every meeting, connect your calendar.
If you're building a one-off dashboard for a specific person or group, use Customize instead.
How does Dashboard Builder respect Visibility Settings?
Dashboard Builder respects each teammate's Visibility Settings:
If a teammate's visibility is set to open to anyone, with or without a Cloverleaf account, you can search for and add them.
If a teammate's visibility is set to only teammates and Coaching Network, and you're not on a team with them or in their Coaching Network, they're hidden and you won't be able to add them.
How is Dashboard Builder different from Team or Meeting Dashboards?
Dashboard Builder is separate from Team Dashboards and Meeting Dashboards and is generated individually. Changes you make in your Dashboard Builder are visible only to you, and teammates aren't notified of any changes.
How can I use Dashboard Builder to explore team dynamics?
Explore dynamics by reviewing assessment results alongside the Team Roles grid and the Thinking Styles Comparison tool. Use Dashboard Builder to prepare for a meeting, get oriented with a new team, or dive deeper into how you work with the people you collaborate with most closely.
Energy Rhythm shows how a group's energy tends to move through the day. For example, a team made up mostly of Pacers will typically peak in the morning, making that the best time to collaborate and strategize together. Watch for teammates who are Anchors, they may need extra support getting energized about shared work without burning out.
You'll know it worked when...
Your custom dashboard displays the teammates you selected.
Removing a teammate updates the dashboard view immediately.
Teammates whose Visibility Settings restrict them from you don't appear in your search results.
Whether you're working on a project team, collaborating cross-functionally, or seeking to understand dynamics with someone new, using Dashboard Builder, you can customize dashboards as needed, without creating a Cloverleaf team.
How to Create a Custom Team Dashboard Using Dashboard Builder

Exploring the Custom Dashboard
Drill into the modules on the dashboard to learn more about your teammates and how you best work together. Connect your calendar for Cloverleaf to automatically create dashboards for each meeting you are in!
Dashboards can only be generated for teammates who have existing Cloverleaf accounts in your organization.
Dashboard Builder and Visibility Settings
This feature respects the Visibility Settings of each team member.
For example: If a person has privacy set to open to anyone with or without a Cloverleaf account, you will be able to search them and add them to your dashboard. If a person has privacy set to only my teammates and those in my Coaching Network, if you are not a part of their Coaching Network or actively on a team with them, they will be hidden and you will not be able to add them to a dashboard.
Dashboard Builder is separate from Team or Meeting Dashboards and is generated by individuals. Any changes made on your Dashboard Builder can only be seen by you, and teammates will not be notified.
How to Use Dashboard Builder
Team Dynamics
Try exploring your team dynamics by leveraging different assessment results, the Team Roles grid, and the Thinking Style Comparison tool. You can use the Dashboard Builder to get ready for a meeting, get insights on a new team you are working with, or dive deeper into dynamics with the people you work closest with.
Energy Rhythm
Let's look at Energy Rhythm. With this group, we can see that this team has mostly Pacers. Most of the team is at its peak in the morning, so that is the best time to collaborate and strategize together.
The Pacers still need to remember their teammate who is an anchor, helping them get excited about their work together without burning them out.
